The location in the heart of the town was marvellous and incredible. There was a great restaurant, a market and a bakery next door.

By and large, it was excellent and absolutely great place with responsible staff on check-out. The airport was 20 km away from here, incredible location. Shopping malls and the Saturday market were right next door.

What a fantastic spot right by the market! the apartment had a comfy bed, a TV, and a nice lounge area to relax in. 🛋️.

We stayed in a separate two bedroom deluxe apartment complex affiliated with the hotel. The location was superb, facilities most comfortable..
Website was a little misleading as waterfront balcony photos were obviously taken of the hotel, not the apartments. A little misleading but otherwise excellent.

Overall had really really nice stay during out Tassie visit.
Although everything was good, some of the staff were terrible.

The location's a gem—Salamanca Markets right at your doorstep! Cracked some serious culinary delights too—Annapurna's hot dogs are a must-try! And the spotless room? Absolute bliss!
Just a few crits—more hooks in the bathroom would’ve been ace, and a cramped kitchen counter could use a sharp knife for those foodie escapades. 🌟.

Position, Position, Position. Just perfect for a first visit to Tassie. So close to everything with the privacy and ease that the over 50's need.
The only problem we had with our unit was the bed. There were lots of dips .. not so good for backs that aren't up to stratch!

The modern units here come with a nice balcony off the living room, and downstairs, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the bar.

Somerset on Salamanca has been used by my daughter whilst on business visits and it was through her insistance that we stayed and enjoyed it. It is well situated, quiet and well maintained.I was involved in the recent volcanic ash affair and officers were most helpful and considerate.

everytime we asked for something we got it eg. broken umbrella - replaced. Extra blankets etc. We had to complain about drilling that started at 8:15am one morning - you dealt with it and apologized although it didn't stop. I would have got them to stop and start again around 10am when most visitors have left. Regardless of fact it was to do with fire alarm. The workers were really inconsiderate and whoever approved the work needs to know this.

The workers were really inconsiderate and whoever approved the work needs to know this. This was my mother's first holiday since my father died. When she mentioned how noisy it was that was when I picked up the phone and complained. We came from Sydney wanting some quiet.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
